July 4, 2022 | Patch notes

In our latest version of Hitmarker, we’ve freshened up the platform’s design and added new features we think you’ll like. This update has been more of a behind-the-scenes one, though, with the bulk of our work going into modernizing our tech stack. Even so, we wanted to make a quick set of patch notes to tell you what’s changed.

You can read each section for a general summary, or click the dropdown toggles to display all changes in that area.

Login & signup

We now support social logins from Google (new), LinkedIn (new), and Twitter.

New users will see these options during sign up. Existing users wanting to connect these platforms to their Hitmarker account can do so here.

Jobs feed

We’ve merged the following filter boxes into a single search bar: esports, location, job title, company, and sector. You can still access all of these — simply type what you’re looking for in the search bar and you’ll see the relevant tags pop up.

Job pages

Job pages look less cluttered now. We’ll also be checking that a job is still accepting applications twice as regularly as before, reducing the number of inactive (closed) jobs you’ll see when browsing.

Dashboard

Previously our user dashboard included candidate and company features. We’ve now split them into two dedicated sections of the website and added additional features to each.

Job submission process

The job submission process is now much smoother and gives companies a link immediately after posting that they can share with their audience.
